About the Artist

Elaine Chan-Scherer is a native San Francisco artist and psychotherapist. She studied art with Shiloh Sophia McCloud-Lewis, Cassandra Light, Barbara Kaufman, Deborah Hoch and Jinn Fauvre.

Together with an international group of women, through study and connection with the Divine Feminine and the use of Shiloh Sophia’s Color of Woman Method of Intentional Creativity, Elaine learned how to paint. An essential part of her process has been having the frequent support and feedback of her family and friends. Her paintings have been shown in places of worship, at sacred gatherings, and in dance and performance art pieces.
Elaine’s wish is for her paintings to inspire you to experience your own connection with the Sacred Feminine. To learn more about Elaine and view her powerful paintings, please visit her website at EvidenceSF.weebly.com

Elaine

She paints on her knees
Madonnas
Young, mature, innocent, brave,
On her knees she paints
On her knees she pulls saint after saint out of herself,
Holy Women All,
Breath of gold
Skin each color holds
In Grace
